The visual arts are art forms which are primarily visual in nature, such as ceramics, drawing, painting, glass staining, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, and often modern visual arts (photography, video, and filmmaking) and architecture. These definitions should not be taken too strictly as many artistic disciplines (performing arts, conceptual art, textile arts) involve aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types. Also included within the visual arts are the applied arts such as industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design and decorative art.

Indian Art can be broadly classified into Performing Arts and Visual Arts where the prior comprises of Dance, Drama and Music while Visual Art can be further classified into Architectures, Sculptures and Paintings.  Architecture can be described as an art of organizing space, functionally and beautifully.

Painting is the most delicate forms of art giving expression to human thoughts and feelings through the media of line and color. 

This portal has made an attempt to bring the glass paintings created by some very talented artists whose creations has not drawn much public attention due to lack of publicity. These artists are busy with their own profession in various fields in our society. These creative arts are reflections of the artist's mind and feelings about any subject which they have been represented through various forms and colors. Dr. Aungsumitra Ray (a practicing Gynecologist), has contributed immensely by offering her creations to the forefront so as to exhibit the articles to all art lovers in the world.
